Led by a local Chef, the class invites you into a real Moroccan home to learn how traditional Tanjawi dishes are prepared, shared, and passed down through generations.
From selecting fresh ingredients to cooking side by side and sharing the meal together, this experience offers a genuine connection to Tangier through food, stories, and warm hospitality.
What to expect
You can expect a relaxed and immersive cooking session focused on simple, seasonal Moroccan dishes. Rather than rushing through recipes, the experience gives space to observe, ask questions, and enjoy the rhythm of a traditional home kitchen.
It’s an informal, shared moment where conversation flows naturally and time slows down — offering a deeper appreciation of Moroccan food culture beyond the plate.
You have the choice between three options when it comes to the menu, Chicken Tagine with olives and preserved lemon, Beef Tagine with prunes and almonds and the famous Tangier seafood Tagine. The class is happening everyday twice a day a morning session starting from 11:00AM and an afternoon session starting from 4:00PM
